NMFS to Issue Public Comment on URI EFP Application for Exempted Fishing Permits

The Assistant Regional Administrator for Sustainable Fisheries, Northeast Region, has made a preliminary determination to issue a public comment period for the University of Rhode Island's EFP application, which would exempt participating vessels from certain size restrictions for summer flounder, scup, and other fish species.
