FHWA Proposes Revision to Federal Regulations on Highway Traffic Noise and Construction Noise Abatement

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is proposing to revise its regulations on reducing highway traffic noise and construction noise, aiming to clarify definitions, analysis requirements, and funding for noise abatement measures, as well as introduce a screening tool and best practices for addressing highway traffic noise.
