HHS to Evaluate Petition for Weldon Spring Plant Employees to Be Included in Special Exposure Cohort

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has announced its decision to evaluate a petition to include employees of the Weldon Spring Plant in Missouri in the Special Exposure Cohort under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act of 2000, which covers workers who were exposed to hazardous materials between 1957 and 1966.
