EPA Proposes Disapproval of Texas' Revisions to New Source Review State Implementation Plan

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to disapprove revisions to the State Implementation Plan (SIP) submitted by Texas, which relate to the Modification of Existing Qualified Facilities program, due to non-compliance with Minor and Major New Source Review SIP requirements. The EPA also proposes to approve or disapprove certain definitions submitted by Texas, including those related to facility types and emission control technologies.
