EPA Proposes Disapproval of Texas Environmental Submittals for Ozone and Air Quality Standards

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to disapprove submittals from the State of Texas for revisions to its New Source Review (NSR) State Implementation Plan (SIP) and Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) SIP, citing non-compliance with federal requirements for implementing the 1997 8-hour ozone national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS) and the 1-hour ozone NAAQS.
