EPA Proposes Determination of Attainment for Chicago and Evansville Air Quality Areas

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to determine that the Chicago and Evansville areas in Illinois and Indiana have met the 1997 fine particle National Ambient Air Quality Standard, based on monitoring data from 2006 to 2008 and preliminary data for 2009.
