Western Area Power Administration to Finance Montana Alberta Tie Limited Transmission Line in Exchange for Ownership

The Western Area Power Administration has decided to finance a portion of the Montana Alberta Tie Limited transmission line in exchange for ownership of 50 megawatts of southbound capacity and 18 miles of transmission line, contingent on meeting necessary conditions under the Transmission Infrastructure Program.
