EPA Seeks Expert Advice on Ecological Impacts of Mountaintop Mining and Valley-Fill Operations

The EPA Science Advisory Board (SAB) Staff Office is seeking nominations for an expert panel to provide advice on the ecological effects of mountaintop mining and valley-fill operations, a surface coal mining technique. The request comes from the EPA's Regional Office in Philadelphia, PA (Region 3), at the request of the EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORD).
