National Farm Safety and Health Week Observed in 2009

The U.S. Department of Labor recognized National Farm Safety and Health Week from March 1 to March 7, 2009, to raise awareness about farm safety and health issues, with the goal of reducing workplace injuries and fatalities in the agricultural industry.
