USDA to Establish Referendum Procedures for Egg Research and Promotion Order

The USDA will establish procedures for a referendum to determine if egg producers favor increasing the assessment rate from 10 cents to 15 cents per 30-dozen case of commercial eggs, with a proposed rule published separately in the Federal Register.
