IRS Modifies Consolidated Return Regulation to Allow Cross-Chain Reorganization of Target Corporation

The IRS has made corrections to a 2009 notice of proposed rulemaking, allowing consolidated groups to reorganize a target corporation's liquidation as a cross-chain reorganization, following a reorganization of a new target corporation.
