FRA Issues Environmental Impact Statement for California High-Speed Train Project from Merced to Fresno

The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has issued a Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the California High-Speed Rail Authority's (Authority) proposed California High-Speed Train (HST) System from Merced to Fresno, CA, in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
