West Virginia Regulatory Program Receives Proposed Amendment Under Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act

The state of West Virginia has submitted a proposed amendment to its regulatory program, which includes revisions to the oversight process for mining permits, boundary revisions, and changes to standards for certain activities, as part of Senate Bill 436 and authorized by Committee Substitute for Senate Bill 153.
