U.S. Coast Guard to Hold Public Meetings on Proposed Rule for Ships' Ballast Water

The U.S. Coast Guard will host two public meetings to discuss its proposed rule on standards for living organisms in ships' ballast water discharged in U.S. waters, published in the Federal Register on August 28, 2009.
