FAA Proposes Update to Rolls-Royce RB211 Trent 700 Engine Airworthiness Directive
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing to update an existing airworthiness directive for Rolls-Royce plc RB211 Trent 700 series turbofan engines to include additional inspections of the vent flow restrictor, in an effort to prevent internal oil fires and engine failure.
