US Department of Education Amends Regulations on Institutional Eligibility and Accrediting Agencies

The US Department of Education has updated its rules to align with changes to the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended, and to clarify the recognition of accrediting agencies, following the enactment of the Higher Education Reconciliation Act of 2005 and the Higher Education Opportunity Act.
