FAA Issues Superseding Airworthiness Directive for Hartzell Propeller Inc. HC-2Y(K,R)-Series Propellers

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is updating an existing airworthiness directive for Hartzell Propeller Inc. HC-2Y(K,R)-series propellers with non-suffix serial number propeller hubs installed on certain Lycoming reciprocating engines, requiring inspections and replacement of cracked hubs to prevent blade separation.
