U.S. Department of Education Amends Loan Programs to Implement New Regulations

The U.S. Secretary of Education has updated the Federal Perkins Loan, Federal Family Education Loan, and William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan programs to align with the Higher Education Act of 1965 and recent legislation, including the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008.
