Boeing Model 747-200C and 747-200F Series Airplanes Airworthiness Directive
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is issuing an airworthiness directive (AD) for Boeing Model 747-200C and 747-200F series airplanes to address reports of water contamination in the electrical/electronic units. The directive requires installing larger moisture shrouds and additional drain lines in the electrical/electronic equipment center to prevent electrical shorts and loss of critical flight functions.
