EPA Proposes Revisions to Arizona State Implementation Plan for Air Quality

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve revisions to the Arizona State Implementation Plan (SIP) for Maricopa County, which aims to reduce particulate matter (PM-10) emissions from outdoor fires and indoor fireplaces at commercial and institutional establishments, as well as residential woodburning devices, in compliance with the Clean Air Act of 1990.
