EPA Approves Revisions to Arizona State Implementation Plan for Maricopa County Air Quality Department

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has taken direct final action to approve revisions to the Maricopa County Air Quality Department portion of the Arizona State Implementation Plan, focusing on reducing PM-10 emissions from open outdoor fires and indoor fireplaces at commercial and institutional establishments, as well as primary and secondary ambient air quality standards and residential woodburning devices.
