EPA Proposes Partial Deletion of California Gulch Superfund Site from National Priorities List

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 8 is proposing to remove Operable Unit 8 (OU8) of the California Gulch Superfund Site in Lake County, Colorado, from the National Priorities List (NPL), and invites public comments on this proposed action, which pertains to the impounded tailing, non-residential area soils, waste rock, fluvial tailing, and stream sediment.
