FEMA Adopts New Civil Penalty Limits Under Robert T. Stafford Act

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has finalized a rule increasing the maximum civil monetary penalty under the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act from $5,000 to $5,500, as mandated by the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act of 1990.
