DoD Finalizes Rule to Promote American Steel in Military Construction Projects

The US Department of Defense has adopted a final rule to implement a provision from the 2009 Appropriations Act, requiring American steel producers to compete for contracts in military construction projects, in line with the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Case 2008-D038.
