CBP Expands Electronic Payment Options for Quarterly Harbor Maintenance Fees

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is introducing an electronic payment system for quarterly harbor maintenance fees (HMF), allowing payers to submit payments or refund requests through an internet account, while maintaining the option to submit via mail. The new system aims to modernize HMF collection efforts and provide expanded electronic payment options for the trade.
