Medicare Program; Payment Policies Under the Physician Fee Schedule and Other Revisions to Part B for CY 2010

The U.S. government has released a final rule updating Medicare payment policies to reflect changes in medical practice and the value of services, including a 21.2% reduction in the physician fee schedule conversion factor for 2010, and a preliminary estimate of an 8.8% reduction in the sustainable growth rate for 2010.
