EPA Approves Tennessee State Implementation Plan for Clean Air Interstate Rule

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized the approval of Tennessee's revised State Implementation Plan (SIP) for the Clean Air Interstate Rule (CAIR), which addresses sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide emissions, following the submission of the plan by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) on July 13, 2009.
