USDA Withdraws Proposed Rule for California Raisin Industry

The US Department of Agriculture has withdrawn a proposed rule for regulating volume percentages of California sun-dried raisins, citing a larger-than-expected crop and the need to maintain export markets and stabilize the domestic market.
