FAA Revises Airworthiness Directive for Airbus Aircraft Models
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is revising an existing airworthiness directive (AD) for Airbus aircraft models A318-111 and -112, and A319, A320, and A321, to clarify the intended effect on spare and on-airplane fuel tank system components. The revision aims to prevent potential ignition sources inside fuel tanks, which could lead to a fuel tank explosion.
