Establishment of the Federal Transit Administration Advisory Committee for Transit Safety

The U.S. Department of Transportation has established the Transit Rail Advisory Committee for Safety (TRACS), a 25-member committee that will provide recommendations on transit safety issues. The committee was authorized by the Secretary of Transportation on November 23, 2009.
