Energy Conservation Program for Consumer Products: Hallowell International Granted Interim Waiver for Residential Central Air Conditioner and Heat Pump Test Procedure

The U.S. Department of Energy has published Hallowell International's petition for a waiver of its test procedure for determining energy consumption of residential central air conditioners and heat pumps, specifically for Hallowell's Boosted Compression heat pumps. The department is soliciting comments and granting an interim waiver to the company.
