Bell Helicopter Textron Canada Issues Airworthiness Directive for BHTC Model 407 and Model 427 Helicopters

Bell Helicopter Textron Canada has adopted a new airworthiness directive for its Model 407 and Model 427 helicopters, following mandatory continuing airworthiness information issued by the Canadian aviation authority, in response to a potential issue with hydraulic pump driveshaft assemblies that may have been delivered without a required internal plug or fastening rivet, which could lead to hydraulic pressure loss and loss of helicopter control if left uncorrected.
