Samsung Seeks Waiver from DOE for Energy Efficiency Test Procedures for French Door Refrigerators

The US Department of Energy has published a notice announcing the receipt of a petition from Samsung Electronics America, Inc. for a waiver from certain energy efficiency test procedures for its French door bottom-mount refrigerators and refrigerator-freezers, which utilize adaptive control technology to optimize energy consumption.
