Embraer EMB-505 Airplane to be Equipped with Automatic Ice Protection System with Special Safety Conditions

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued special conditions for the Embraer EMB-505 airplane, which will feature a novel ice protection system design that does not meet current airworthiness regulations, requiring additional safety standards to ensure equivalent safety levels.
