USDA to Host Public Meeting on BioPreferred Voluntary Labeling Program

The U.S. Department of Agriculture will host a public meeting on January 5, 2010, to discuss the evaluation of environmental assessments for biobased products, including the proposed use of life cycle assessment, as part of the USDA's biobased product labeling program, mandated by the 2008 Farm Bill.
