Exemptions Issued for Two Pension Plans by the Department of Labor

The Department of Labor has issued exemptions from prohibited transaction restrictions for two pension plans, the Cotter Merchandise Storage Company Defined Benefit Pension Plan and the Unaka Company Incorporated Employees Profit Sharing Plan, allowing them to engage in certain transactions without violating ERISA or the Internal Revenue Code.
