EPA Revises Lead Ambient Air Monitoring Requirements

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized a rule requiring state and local monitoring agencies to conduct lead monitoring, effective January 12, 2009, as part of the revised National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for lead, issued on November 12, 2008.
