Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Kootenai National Forest Project

The US Forest Service will release an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for a project in the Kootenai National Forest, Montana, which includes commercial and non-commercial vegetation management, prescribed burning, and watershed improvement activities, as well as access management changes and design features to protect resources and facilitate management activities.
