NRC Solicits Public Comment on Revised Physical Security Hardware Inspection Guidelines

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is seeking public input on a proposed revision to its Standard Review Plan (SRP) for nuclear power plants, specifically Section 14.3.12 on physical security hardware inspections, tests, analyses, and acceptance criteria, which was last updated in 2007 and reflects changes to the Power Reactor Security Rule published in 2009.
