Nuclear Regulatory Commission Requests OMB Review of Information Collection for Nuclear Power Plant Licensing

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has submitted a proposal to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review of its information collection under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, as required by the Federal Register Notice published on March 2, 2010. The NRC is seeking OMB approval to extend its information collection, which is necessary for the agency to conduct a detailed review of applications for nuclear power plant licenses and other related activities.
