Nuclear Regulatory Commission Confirms Effective Date for MAGNASTOR System Spent Fuel Storage Regulations

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has confirmed the effective date of August 30, 2010, for a direct final rule that amended the NRC's spent fuel storage regulations to include the MAGNASTOR System listing, following the publication of Amendment Number 1 to Certificate of Compliance Number 1031 in the Federal Register on June 15, 2010.
