Nuclear Regulatory Commission Amends Regulations to Incorporate Latest ASME Code Cases

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has updated its regulations to incorporate the latest revisions of two regulatory guides (RGs) from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), allowing nuclear power plant licensees to use alternative code cases for construction and inservice inspection of components.
