NRC to Consider Petition from Nuclear Energy Institute

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will review five of the issues raised in a petition submitted by the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), while denying the remaining four issues, in an effort to clarify existing event reporting requirements based on experience gained since the requirements were revised.
