U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Establishes Licensing Support System Advisory Review Panel

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission created the Licensing Support System Advisory Review Panel in 1989 to provide advice on the design and development of an electronic information management system for storing and retrieving documents related to the disposal of high-level radioactive waste, and on the operation and maintenance of the system, known as the Licensing Support System (LSS).
