DOD, GSA, and NASA Propose Updates to Federal Acquisition Regulation Accounting References

The Department of Defense (DoD), General Services Administration (GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) are proposing to revise the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to align with the Financial Accounting Standards Board's (FASB) Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), commonly referred to as the 'Codification of GAAP'.
