DoD, GSA, and NASA Adopt Final Rule Exempting Commercial IT from Buy American Act

The Department of Defense (DoD), General Services Administration (GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) have finalized a rule allowing the exemption of commercial information technology from the Buy American Act for construction materials, as mandated by the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2010.
