DOD, GSA, and NASA Propose Updates to Federal Acquisition Regulation for Contract Reporting and Central Contractor Registration

The Department of Defense (DoD), General Services Administration (GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) are proposing changes to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to restrict the use of generic substitutes for Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) numbers and update reporting policies in the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS). These updates also aim to modify clauses related to contractor registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and DUNS number reporting.
