The US International Trade Commission (USITC) has initiated an investigation into Apple Inc.'s alleged patent infringement of several US patents, including the `949 patent, `922 patent, `533 patent, `697 patent, `501 patent, `757 patent, and `678 patent, following a complaint filed on July 5, 2011, on behalf of Apple Inc.
