FCC Implements Short-Term Analog Flash and Emergency Readiness Act, Establishes 'Analog Nightlight' Program

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has implemented the Short-Term Analog Flash and Emergency Readiness Act, which requires the development and implementation of a program to provide continued analog TV service for 30 days after the DTV transition date, to assist viewers in obtaining necessary equipment for digital broadcasts.
