FCC Extends Waiver for Telecommunications Services for People with Disabilities

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has extended a limited waiver for telecommunications services, allowing people with disabilities to access telecommunications equipment and customer premises equipment, as well as speech-to-speech services, while maintaining the requirement for traditional relay service providers to automatically call a Public Safety Answering Point in emergency situations.
